The move is an outgrowth of another unilateral decision made by Obama, known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). DACA provided work permits and deferred action from deportation to approximately 500,000 younger illegals who met certain eligibility criteria. The Defense Department continues to examine the laws and policies that address the eligibility of noncitizens to serve in the military in order to determine if and how our programs could be applied to DACA recipients, Pentagon spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Nate Christensen said in a statement.

He knows it is a short court stop from the military (government) recognizing them and court ordered amnesty.

Shanty towns, tent cities, perpetual public housing, dysfunctional government healthcare, systematic bureaucratic corruption, tin pot dictator, a stagnant economy, and no go sections in every city. A little more amnesty is just the thing for creating another Third-World plantation for Democrats.

Sorry, but how is Obama’s approach any different from the GOP-E approach?

The Democrats know well that if they can get millions of people here in the US illegally somehow made into “citizens” - and dependent on Democrat largesse in what has become an endless list of government freebies at taxpayer expense - it will insure enough new Democrat voters to win every election for decades.
It’s nothing less than pure and unadulterated, in-your-face, political corruption, which the Democrats will never cede.
What’s astonishing is that there are Republicans who want this, also.
