Before the questions are asked regarding DHS/ICE involvement in a child porn case, here is the reason. Most child porn cases at some point cross international boundaries, which puts it into ICE jurisdiction. Almost none of these cases are ICE alone. Most are task force cases involving state and other federal agencies, as well.

Yeah, I would not want ICE to control the borders. Oh, wait, isn’t that what they ge paid to do?

I do not care if they are “sick”, can’t help themselves. I would work cheap—save millions of dollars in attorney fees, incarceration, appeals, probation/parole, follow on offenses and prosecution, just nip it in the bud.
50K, I pull the trigger, double tap to the head, quick transport by used pick-up truck to the municipal crematorium, problem solved.

There are too few problem solvers I believe.

You explained ICE. What does DHS have to do with this?
Mission creep? I want these slimes in jail or worse but we have agencies that could do this prior. Too many feds. with too much power.
