You should really include hot cherry peppers as well. I make the sandwiches for PSU tailgate every year and they’re a big hit. If you can get Amoroso rolls - that is what makes it. Same w/ cheese steaks which I also do every year.

I've lived here for 50 years and once worked in a local pizza and sub shop.

I always thought that a grinder (grindah) was toasted in the pizza oven and subs were not.
