I’ve had an affinity for music pretty much since birth-we had the first stereo-bought at the BX-in the neighborhood when I was little, and my parents listened to mostly rock and blues-which were sort of new, but some pop, and they dragged us to some operas and such when there was a symphony hall within 40 miles. The aria from Madame Butterfly, “Un Bel Di” is my fav one, with that Japanese diva singing it-it makes me cry every time. The 1812 is my fav symphony, like just about everyone...
We had the beat and danced all the time-still do. I can remember what song was in the background at just about every defining moment, good or bad...
And my kid started rocking in utero...
I’d never heard that annoying song before, but I pretty much prefer the hard stuff when it comes to rock and pop...
I pretty much prefer the hard stuff on the rocks, and pop by itself ......
But did you remember the Fastway song?
Owww!
Oh, yes-I still hear it on the classic rick station I listen to all the time.
“Rick” not “rick”-eating apple and typing not good..
Rock, damnit!
Pardon me while I put down the apple and wash my hands before touching the keyboard again.
Sure, woman. Blame the apple. ;-)
Yes-some multi-tasking is just never a good idea...
oh i have always liked music, and love to dance. but i am not someone that listens to music constantly. we have to pick what songs we want to be introduced by at the wedding some point before too long here.
I’m not familiar with/haven’t heard of that custom at all, but I think it would be great fun as long as everyone had a healthy sense of humor...
Sounds like another theme day here at WftD.
That would make a fun theme!
ROR!
That is absolutely a riot-especially the responses that are thinly veiled threats of a display of inappropriate angst or violence...
Best RSVP card ever.
Glad you got it.
