It's funny what people believe about roosters only crowing once in the morning to welcome the sunrise. I have heard ours crow nearly continuously from the time I walk out the door of the house until I get to the truck 250’ away.

We have one at school and the D@MN thing never shuts up. You should have seen /heard him the day my Cocker spaniel; decided she wanted chicken for lunch. Kept his mouth shut for the whole day after that.
