Why is the FDA considering allowing chickens processed in China (in plants FDA inspectors an forbidden to inspect, no less!) to be sold in the US as American products?

And would any of us be surprised to learn that US raised chickens are being eaten by the Chinese and they are sending their contaminated chickens back to us, with the USDA’s “Product of the USA” on them, of course. Who trusts this government?

Don’t ever buy packaged chicken nuggets. They are now most likely processed in China, but may bear a USA tag. Would you please tell me how chickens can be slaughtered here, sent to China to be processed and then returned back here to be sold?
