Two injured in fort plane crash. Single-engine aircraft crash lands

SIERRA VISTA — Two people aboard a Cessna — the model was unknown — were injured in a 10 a.m. accident at the joint Army and Sierra Vista airfield, according to a post spokeswoman.

Both individuals were transported to medical facilities for treatment, with one being flown to a Tucson hospital and the other taken by ground transportation to the Sierra Vista Regional Health Center, fort media relations officer Tanja Linton said.

I assume that would be a Cessna 150, not a 500 unless I’ve really lost touch with private aviation.

Ummm....

A Cessna 500 is a Citation jet. Its not a “two seat single engine” like a 152.

Think the journalism major writing this crap is showing their typical complete and utter ignorance.
