I usually go about 2/3 soda, 1/3 salt.
It’s very easy to use too much —u really only need a very little.
Next time you buy “real” toothpaste, turn around the box and read the ingredients —what’s in there to kill bacteria and fungus?
Basically nothing.
Many also have SOME form of sugar, which you really don’t need to be applying to your teeth, since we eat so much of it anyway.
My hygienist and then periodontist gave me the best recipe ever for mouth wash. The periodontist said they sell the active ingredient rinses for about $90 a bottle. 1 teaspoon bleach in a cup of water, rinse for 60 seconds, spit, spit, spit.
It works.
