I have struggled with my weight for years. I lost 50lbs doing Atkins several years ago, but became pregnant again and could be so restrictive with morning sickness. Gained a lot back, then had thyroid problems after the baby was born and just couldn’t drop the weight again. So I went face down into cake. LOL

I finally tried the Trim Healthy Mama plan, and I love it! It’s a type of carb/calorie/fat cycling plan. What I love most about it is having sweet treats again. With a bunch of little kids and 11 birthdays to celebrate, it was so hard not eating junky desserts. Now I indulge with no guilt.

Sorry it sounds like an ad. Can’t help it. These sisters tried every diet then put together what seemed to work from various different plans.. I was skeptical when I started, but it is working, especially on the stubborn belly fat.

Good for you-sounds like you broke the diet-and-gain cycle. I’m saving that link to sand to the cub when she mentions diet again.

I weigh the same as I did at 17, and grew up with a pretty much paleo/Atkins diet in the country, so I never developed a taste for sweets. There was/still is a small orchard on the family ranch, and berry vines, so fresh fruit was available.
