In his early days Dylan showed himself to be about the best songwriter ever.His first half dozen,or so,albums contained at least one classic performance...most of them more than one.After that...no thanks.

I'm not sure I can bring myself to listen to the version "sung" by the guy who did "Like a Rolling Stone" and "Rainy Day Women." My favorite version is the one by Freddy Martin & His Orchestra. I also like Carmen Cavallero's version. These were both hits in the early months of 1946.

I’d rather listen to the original Rachmaninoff.

Two other hit songs came from the Rock’s 2nd piano concerto;

Don’t Cry Out Loud

and

Rhapsody in the Rain (I’m not sure about this one)

I LOVE Rachmaninoff. I even listen to his Russian Orthodox Liturgical Music.
