Anything’s possible, but if it’s a fake, it’s masterful. (I’m a Photoshop artist). What a typical “forger” would overlook is the shadow of the plane on the cloud. Also, ALL of the lighting and shadows are coherent. That’s extremely difficult to do when compositing two separate images from two different sources.

Thanks for the analysis. It looked fake to me because the top of the pic looked textured. Early in the thread, I found a better quality file of the same shot and can see that it is real.
