I can now join the ranks of the cucuzza germinators!

Did you keep track of how many days it took? I think of my three in the garden, I forgot to keep the one tiny one with no true leaves covered, and it fried...So far, that equals 2 alive plants out of twelve seeds. I check the ones under the grow lamp, five times a day I think, and of those, nada.

I think next we will have to try incantations, pixie dust, something we're not doing exactly right to become Cucuzza Masters.

I started soaking the seeds the morning of May 2nd. They went into cups with potting soil (after I used an emory board to file the edges of the seeds) on May 6. Today, I noticed a seedling peeping through the dirt. It could have been peeping through yesterday, but I didn’t check yesterday so I’m not sure. I’d say about 12 days from going in the cup to leaves peeping through. I’m going to keep it inside until it has at least 4 leaves, maybe more, depending on how big it’s getting in that cup. Also, I think I put two seeds in the one cup so I might have a second one coming through ... could I be so lucky(?) .... time will tell. “Cucuzzi Masters” .... I love it! :-)
