I think his finest work was with the Lakers under Bill Sharman. The Lakers had plenty of guns so Wilt could concentrate on defense and rebounding. It was a think of beauty to watch Wilt grab the ball off the rim and rifle it down court like a softball to a streaking Goodrich or Hairston for the easy layup.
BTW, Wilt was the only player I ever saw block Kareem's sky hook.
You point out the fact that once Wilt was with the Lakers, his greatest attribute was the assists, he totally changed his game to adapt to the new surroundings.
