They made a big deal of Danica Patrick finishing in 7th place in a race last week. I was thinking WTF?

Tony Romo should be somewhere in the top 10.

As much as I hate to say it, being from Dallas, I’d have to put Dirk Nowitzki on the list.

Touted by Chiefs coach Marty Shottenheimer as a franchise quarterback he delivered mostly bupkis(and injuries) while Rich Gannon delivered most of the W's.

Al Bundy. What has he done since his four touchdowns in a single game? Exactly.

Deion Sanders absolutely overrated.

http://www.nba.com/history/wilt100_moments.html Wilt did score 100 points in a single game. Granted he wasn't much of a team player, but he was a great athlete.
Danica Patrick. Need I say more. Who cares what kind of athlete she is? Danica delivers what her fans are looking for, as demonstrated by SI's emphasis on her athletic and toned body.
The other three are on the spectrum from thuggish to drug-enhanced to freakish.

Wilt may not have been a great basketball player, but I think he got a lot of people interesting in watching the game.

I’ll add Joe Namath to the list

David Beckham....a good marketer, but I don’t think he was all that great of a player. So he could bend the ball on free kicks.

He writes of Wilt:
But he cared only for his stats if given the choice between shooting a layup and losing the game, or passing to somebody in three-point range so they could shoot and WIN, hed almost certainly take the former.
What a moron!!!! This guy knows nothing.

I am going to dissent on Rodman. Forgetting about his crazyness, he was the main reason the Pistons won their titles, he revolutionized the game with his mastery of rebounding and his defense.

A lot of people argue Wilt Chamberlain was the greatest player ever. Apparently he had two championships, is the argument that he “should have” won more really valid?
I always thought his height was the whole story but he has a lot of supporters.

Rodman doesn't belong anywhere close to the top 5 or top 100.
Everyone knew what they were getting with Rodman - great defense, great rebounding & zero offense.
No one disputes that so how is he "overrated"?
