I do the same, buy it, toss it in the freezer for later.
Tell myself mostly it’s AGED beef, so won’t hurt ya none...
And you got that right, I remember when snap, crackle and pop was cereal, now I hear that getting out of bed.
LOL ... I do too, the snap, crackle and pop each a.m. on stumbling to my feet. Seems like yesterday was doing fifty sit-ups, fifty push-ups, running five miles and that was all before breakfast.
Food is a necessity at this household and cutting corners during rising food costs is difficult but the AGED beef of purchasing markdowns is suitable (imho) if I find no coloration of green. Love salads but do not purchase green colored meat. Green scares me on meat and though love extra green folding money in my pocket have not yet resorted to eating green colored meat. May have to one day but thus far that day has not arrived, thankfully. Am surprised the meat market managers allow meat on the shelves which have begun taking on the color of green but they allow in this neck of the woods. Maybe green coloration is the new color red for AGED beef and maybe even the green coloration is not unhealthy but something about green coloration to meat leaves me not wanting to purchase.
May you have a great evening Shadowstrike. Think am going to call today over and get ready to face snap, crackle and pop in a few hours.
