We can’t keep railroading people out of their positions just because they say something rude. Especially when it was a PRIVATE conversation. It won’t be long and NO ONE will be able to speak the truth.
I don’t know if this man, (women would be even more cruel), is a Democrat or Republican, and I don’t care. He is or was free to speak his mind, in a “private” (not that it really matters) conversation. One person’s joke is another person’s imagined embarrassment, so ban all jokes?
