Isn’t dereliction of duty coming from the CINC a court-martial offense? certainly is treason.

Dereliction of duty may not be Treason; the Constitution is very clear about what constitutes Treason — now I'm not saying that such dereliction cannot be treason, just that it may not be sufficient to qualify for Treason.

A much clearer, easier-to-prove case of Treason is the Fast & Furious operation by the BATFE, FBI, DEA, and DHS.
