“Presumably if the stepmother was in the right, she could go to court herself if she has a legitimate reason to bar the children from seeing their father.”

If the wife is the guardian, then she doesn’t need a legitimate reason. I am the caregiver for my wife who is an advanced Parkinson’s patient. If the daughter has conservator ship, the kids are covered to the extent of what’s in the will. The wife can’t spend “his” money.

What does this mean: “If the daughter has conservator ship, the kids are covered to the extent of what’s in the will.”? Supposedly the kids are not in the will. They were given trusts. It may be a medical conservatorship. Why is she hiding him? I just think it is sad.
