Michael Sams, the first openly queer player cut by the NFL.

I hope you are right. However, I predict that the liberal hell holes (which is where most NFL teams are located) will threaten to burn anyone at the stake who dares to go against the gay agenda. The media will follow this mantra as well - anyone opposing the gay agenda will be put in the worst light and destroyed if possible. Like their fag-filled predecessors that made up the leadership of the Brownshirts, the gaystapo is a very real danger.

Yeah, the speculative market. Reminds of when NC passed a law raising fines on drug dealers if they didn’t have a new drug stamp on their illegal product.
The only buyers were stamp collectors and those wanting to get in on the future scarcity of the stamps since, sure enough, the idea bombed in less than a year.

“The market is speaking”
Indeed.
I don’t know why this should surprise anyone, in a country where the majority supports gay *marriage*, for crying out loud. After redefining marriage, a gay football player by itself seems almost quaint.

“notice: no NFL confirmation on that story.”
Not exactly true; the NFL doesn’t ever release raw numbers but notice that a named NFL spokesperson went on record gushing over the sales ranking.

Just hours after Sams selection, it was reported that the NFL was scrambling to fulfill a ridiculous quantity of request for Sams jersey. "Ridiculous" amounting to exactly two percent of the American populace.

I’m thisclose to saying “Goodf*****gbye” to the NFL. It’s beyond ridiculous: Glorifying a fudgepacking bitch with an attitude.
Now the Rams will become sainted in the fagula community, just like Subaru.

Habs push the Bruins to game 7. The other day on the train I saw a guy and his hot blond girlfriend decked out in Habs gear. They didn’t sound like hosers.
Blackhawks/Wild game 6 tonight

BOS played TERRIBLE last night. TERRIBLE.
Overall, this is the best NHL playoffs ever, IMHO.
