Ugh, what with the recent controversy with cheerleaders demanding more pay and all, I thought the NFL had hired new cheerleaders. I presumed they'd be more normal, wholesome looking people as opposed to the silicone-filled, jutting-boned cheerleaders normally seen.

And instead I see...Village people...

One of thos cheerleaders “demanding more pay” is my co-workers daughter.

I could not believe what these girls go though- I know it is supply and demand, and if they refused to work there would be a dozen more waiting to take their place, but...

They DO NOT get a regular salary, they are expected to show up for all events for free- OCASSIONALLY some will be paid events but only for the first two and it is usually like $50. And they only get 4 hours pay for game days - they make a total of less than 4K per year “pay” for being cheerleaders and that’s IF they go to promotion events.

For all the money the teams make and the promotion the Cheerleaders generate, it is pretty sad
