It’s a nice idea, and good luck to them. But I think they’ll find that their “village” will soon turn into a cesspool of drugs, theft, and filth. Folks who are homeless for any length of time usually seem to have addictions and/or mental problems.
Many Homeless are just one of three things—A) Scam artists making a good living off of the public. B) Addicted adults who are looking for a fix or the next bottle of Booze, or C) Mentally ill people who should be in an instution to get the help they need.
Not to mention a lack of purpose, which will ultimately doom the “normal” life she envisions.

I always wonder, why is it that, when a Republican is president, the homeless issue is blamed on the policies of that president?
Yet, here we are 5 plus years into the Obama era, and the MSM never ties the growing number of homeless to the policies of this president.
Yeah. The problem requires more of a solution than building sheds.
It will also be interesting to see the first interaction between Occupy Madison and a zoning board, or the board of health. You live by the sword...
