How do you say [in advance] it is not going to work?

Poyet did a great job for Sunderland but basically, it was the last six weeks of the season or less. http://us.soccerway.com/teams/england/sunderland-association-football-club/683/
Probably the only bad hooliganism these days is when Millwall plays West Ham.
I agree, and Klinsmann is a huge upgrade in the brain trust department over Bob Bradley. Letting Ricardo Clark and Robbie Findley anywhere near a World Cup match in 2010 should have been a capital offense.
The USA will have to catch Germany on a very bad day to take points off them. Given Klinsmann’s history with them, I don’t see that as likely. But you never know.
We beat Spain with Bob Bradley, even if it was the Confederations Cup, that’s still something and it brought their unbeaten or winning streak to an end. For awhile, it didn’t look that good with Klinsmann. So I’m just cheering for the National Team.
Do you think England will advance out of their group with Uruguay, Italy and Costa Rica? I know England’s first game is against Italy. Should be a good one, I’d say that likely ends up as a draw. Then, England has to travel some long distance for their 2nd game.
I like England’s chances to advance. Can’t say they’ll be a first seed, but I honestly don’t see them losing to either Uruguay or Costa Rica. Problem is,the English tend to overrate themselves at World Cup time and only rarely is the hype deserved.
And you bring up a good point about travel, which works against the Americans in their group, unfortunately. Some huge distances involved.
