I am astounded that not only was he arrested, but how quiet and compliant all the other parents were. What is wrong with those people? What has happened to people’s ability to think for themselves? They just sat there.
Fear works.
Until it doesn’t anymore.
It’s getting to be a habit:
Parent Manhandled Arrested While Speaking Out Against Common Core At Public Forum - Towson, Maryland

I wouldn’t of been able to sit through that, then again I’m the guy always putting myself into the line of fire and taking the brunt, must be my infantryman background.
Those people there should be ashamed.
I only figured out in about 2008, that I’m a sheepdog, and suddenly my whole life made sense lol.
That’s what shocked me too, if I was in a public meeting where interested citizens were debating a controversial public issue and I saw a fellow citizen, even one I disagreed with, being arrested for stating his viewpoint, even if he was a bit emotive or slightly overbearing but nonetheless peacefully and with dignity, I would be absolutely outraged.
The way they meekly sat there, not shouting at the cop to get the hell out and leave free-born citizens the hell alone to debate the issue the way they saw fit was absolutely disgusting.
So democracy and free speech has come down to a two-minute rule now, you’ve got two minutes to say your piece, you must do so in as unemotional and passive a way as possible, then you must sit down and your superiors will go ahead and do what they wanted to do.
King George III would be laughing his butt off if he saw the meek, cowered compliance of the big, bold, free Americans today.
It’s over folks, American exceptionalism is dead, I don’t ever want to hear anyone sneering in this forum about the Euro-weenies, you’re as state-compliant as they are.
Someone stick a fork in Uncle Sam, he’s done.
