” Better a Morlock than a worthless Eloi... “

In some ways, yes.

The Eloi were essentially cattle, You know, like the perfect “Citizen Class” that the liberals love to define as part of their plans of a utopia...

ansel12 is big on imagining personal attacks, among other things.

He reserves the right to slander sizable swaths of FR as child porn supporters and stealth leftists, then gets all sensitive when anyone voices an objection with any level of appropriate miffedness.

The libertarian argument is in favor of gay equality.

Sexual orientation, preference, gender, or gender identity should have no impact on the government’s treatment of individuals, such as in current marriage, child custody, adoption, immigration or military service laws.

That they were. Incapable of even thinking of lifting a finger to save another from drowning.

The State’s end game welfare recipients.

Go back, read the post again, and follow the exchange, your post doesn’t make sense at any level.

What is false about it, libertarianism discriminates against non-heterosexuals?

Whatever.

You have no faith in your fellow man and have seemed to acquiesce to the need of an authoritative government.

I reject that position.

As long as the government has a role in those areas, for good or for bad, then it’s reasonable for the government to take into account an individual’s sexuality. After all, sexuality matters. It’s not like race where it doesn’t matter.

For crying out loud, look at his two posts to me, neither one involves a correction, or facts, or anything to challenge or correct my post, or any post, instead it is a personal attack, a personal insult.

Try that kind of thing on the religion threads, of skipping the subject and thread topic entirely and merely going after the person personally.

And there is a huge difference between going after a radical anti-conservative ideology, and going after an individual freeper.

Q. Do people learn by experience or by being TOLD ?

Do you trust ANY government to “TELL” you what to think ?

You need to understand human nature.

You can “Tell” your child “NOT” to touch that glowing red burner on your stove, but not until they get burned, will they learn.

Thanks, if you read the thread, you will see that that simple but profound post got many personal attacks against me, but not one mention of what it said and described so accuratly, and it was only one sentence long.

You need to let me know what in the heck you are trying to say.

Just spit it out in adult language and relevant to the post you are responding to.

Here it is again. “”The libertarian argument is in favor of gay equality.

That made me chuckle a little bit. Do I have to look around, or can I take your word for it? We might spar a bit on some threads from time to time, but you have been a major asset on this one, beginning with pointing out the first sentence of the original post to me; which I breezed over at first glance!

Faith in our fellow man! HAHAHA. It isn’t actually all that funny, but laughter helps. I have faith that my fellow man will, in the aggregate, pursue his own self interest, usually in a rational and mostly short-sited way. It’s likely that I will do the same. I will guide my politics accordingly, until such time as the world is changed. Until then, mostly ugh.

There is no little l,big l libertarianism, and it is a silly way of promoting gay marriage to try the childish prank of pretending that government and marriage have no connection in America, and is going to change, or could change.

It is just leftwing nonsense to help conceal the pro-gay marriage position of libbers, one they don’t bother with when speaking to liberals.
