There's a certain Je ne sais quoi about a guy holding a guitar.
Or so says a new study from France, which suggests that a man is perceived as more attractive to women if theres a guitar in his hands. The study's results are similar to the findings of a 2012 study from Israel.
France, Israel, Hoboken or Bumpass, Virginia it doesn't matter where the guitarist is from. The point is, male guitarists are generally viewed as promising mating material (as if we didn't all know that already)!

The only reason I wonder is that in interviews I’ve read/watched with other people around that camp, even the tech side people no one’s ever heard of, the subject gets changed quickly by the people involved. Seems they’d be trumpeting his overcoming it all.

When I was a kid, (45 years ago) I use to follow around a guy who lived in my building like a puppy dog. He was 10 years older than me. He would let me hang out with him and his buds and listen to them jam. They had a storage room in the basement that the super let them turn into a studio.
He taught me guitar. Said it was a sure fire way to get chicks. One night they played at the local high school. The next morning he and his band were gone. The five of them volunteered. Four came home.
I still have the beat up acoustic guitar he gave me.

The quad neck of that was stolen. I don’t think it was ever found.

We should strap a gee-tar on our conservative choice for President. The gals will forget all about the phoney democrat war on gals.

Hmmmmm... I much prefer a man with substantial fire power. Forget the guitars. How about both?

Worked in them, played in them, GOT MARRIED in them to the great tizzy of the inlaws. I bet! {^) What about your own poor ol' ma -- what did she think?!?
Sidenote: my mom met my dad for the first time at a formal dance where cowboy boots were not proper attire. My dad was not only wearing cowboy boots, he had his Levis (not Wranglers back then) on underneath his slacks because it was his plan to drag the gang outta that dance pronto and to a cowboy dance down the road! My mother was scandalized!
They ended up being each others' best friend for almost 64 years before my beloved ol' pop died, at home in bed, at the age of 90. Not a bad way to go, though he wasn't wearing his boots!

Ma wasn’t there. But Granny had long since given up trying to dress me for formal occasions. Never did listen anyway ;). Wife was fine with it and that’s the ONLY thing I cared about.
Met me that way and had to live with me that way so I guess she figured why not?
