Needless to say there is the small risk of death in most anything we do.

I won a free week in the hospital and 3 weeks of healing up after one. Got a hole poked in my intestine during removal of polyps. Next year I get the choice of getting one again. I will do the “virtual” one first to see if there is a problem.

I know of at least 3 people who have had major problems with removal of the polyps. They spent many days at the hospital in intensive care.
