Barack Obama for president (Flasback)
Los Angeles Times ^

It is inherent in the American character to aspire to greatness, so it can be disorienting when the nation stumbles or loses confidence in bedrock principles or institutions. That's where the United States is as it prepares to select a new president: We have seen the government take a stake in venerable private financial houses; we have witnessed eight years of executive branch power grabs and erosion of civil liberties; we are still recovering from a murderous attack by terrorists on our own soil and still struggling with how best to prevent a recurrence.
We need a leader who demonstrates thoughtful calm and grace under pressure, one not prone to volatile gesture or capricious pronouncement.
The Times without hesitation endorses Barack Obama for president.

The word ‘grace’ does not come to mind when describing narcissists.

“The Times without hesitation endorses Barack Obama for president.”
If things were just, the above endorcement would cause The Times to be another entity charged as a co conspirator in the userption of lawful government in the US.

As a constitutional scholar, he has articulated a respect for the rule of law and the limited power of the executive that make him the best hope of restoring balance and process to the Justice Department. So much to choose from but this one stood out. What a bunch of fools - although I'm sure they wouldn't ever admit it.

The painful part is that Baraq and Moose are going to be like the Clintons, they’ll be on the front page of all media forms forever.
After Granny Hillary’s 8 year reign is up in 2025, you’ll see Malaria Obama-Shabazz crank out a grandchild for MooseChelle’s run for the White House.

I don’t think Michelle has any interest in a similar path as Hillary. She detests all this stuff. She’ll ride the celebrity train for what will seem like eternity, though. We’ll never get rid of her.

There’s a not-so-short list of co-conspirators in this.

You may be right.
At the very least we’ll get to “enjoy” her on “The View”, Blowprah, MSNBC, etc.

Remember the LA Times has now officially stopped printing letters from “deniers”, effectively crossing 100% into advocacy and no longer even faking being journalists. I’d say they have been that way toward Democrats for even much longer time, so whether it’s the LA Times or the NY Times, having them endorse anyone but the Democrat is as likely as the DNC doing the same.

This is one of those deals where you just don’t know where to start.
Maybe Fox News should get the Editor-in-Chief of the L.A. Times on, read this editorial to him and say, “Well, were you right, or were you wrong? Explain.”

No.
To a significant percentage of voting-age, everything in this article is still true to them.
This republic can survive anything except a populace that would elect someone like Obama.
