A real man doesn’t watch more than an hour of tv a day? Then according to this list, a real man doesn’t watch sports. Because there’s no major sports event that’s done in an hour. My own view is that real men watch sports.
Real men don’t care about thugs and prolonged teenage boys chasing a ball around. They have more important things to do. So, no, real men don’t care about televised sports.
Now, if they play rugby or a sport that actually draws blood, then you would be correct.
I was a professional sports photographer for 13 years.
I never watch sports on TV. Too much like going to work.
I think the rule could go by averages. Thus a real man watches only two to three games on TV a week, depending on the sport.
Seriously? Because I think it's rather lame if done on a frequent basis. There's nothing wrong with the occasional ballgame on a weekend, especially if it's nasty weather outside and nothing to do in the yard.
I know some men who actually get emotionally invested and get upset if their "home team" gets knocked out of the playoffs or loses a big game. I find that really pathetic - what are they, some 9-year-old kid?
You just want to smack them and tell them to grow up. And what's with wearing jerseys and other paraphernalia emblazoned with the logo of your home town team? I don't find that very manly at all.
I’d rather play sports than watch sports.
Rugby. Frisbee football. 3-gun. Archery. Drag racing...
I’d even get into those neat looking aircraft races if I could afford it. At least while my eye sight/reflexes are still sharp...
