The show isn’t perfect history but they’re holding firm with the history of the wider story.
For instance, the Dunmore proclamation was issued a year before the show is taking place and the Woodhulls don’t appear to have ever been loyalists.
That’s fine with me. I’m not a stickler for perfect adherence to history when it comes to period movies/shows. I don’t mind a bit of dramatic license or monkeying with the details. I can read a book to get the gist of those.
