I’ve heard some of these cases happening to cross dressing prostitutes.

In those cases, man picks up what he thinks is a girl, and “she” agrees to perform a sex act on him. But then he starts checking “her” out, and becomes enraged when he discovers that “she” is really a “he”, if you know what I mean.

It doesn’t excuse violence or murder, but, trying to pretend that you are a different sex than you really are, in some contexts, is a dangerous thing to do.

Yes, it is. On the other hand, some contexts are dangerous to anyone. I'm really a woman ... unless I'm really a dog, who can tell on the internet ... but I would avoid a gas station with a crowd of thuggish-looking men hanging around.
