I did a mars society project on devon island in 2000. Winds kept us in resolute for a week. I put my American flag on the patio of the quonset hut hotel and the team celebrated the 4th of july drinking scotch and smoking cigars. Warm in the sun with just a single layer of clothes.

This was my project.

It was an interesting change for the oil/gas work. My company had done some work associated with the prior Poker Flats test project for the same technology.

When our construction group started making suggestions how to better design the equipment, we got hired for the big job.
