O’Reilly is an egotist, and he is often a panderer. But his 4/30 commentary on Benghazi was inspired, and spot on. It should be required viewing for all who attend journalism schools.
BOR is upset because the big eared fraud lied to his face during his big interview with him and when he tried to get to the truth, he ran out the clock with one of his five minute answers which say nothing about the subject at hand.
I’d like to see the big eared fraud interrogated by someone like Torquemada and I bet his anwers would be shorter and to the point.
He did a great job tonight.
Have you seen his take on it now???
He just butters his toast!
He makes mistakes, and he certainly has a big ego, but O’Reilly does operate in the mode of traditional journalists, aka “we report, you decide”. He is not an ideologue like Hannity (or MSNBC) and he expresses opinions, so he’s not “hard news” either, but he does strive to present both sides of most issues and acts as an equal opportunity devils advocate in an attempt to force debate rather than allowing guests to merely recite talking points.
But his own “memo” is generally aimed at discovering the truth, and exposing corruption, misdeeds, and things that are just flat-out dumb. He’s been a consistent critic of the Benghazi cover-up and now that there’s proof, I look for him to beat the drum even louder.
O’Reilly’s right on this one...
