Do you live in Chicago or NYC or any other large city? City people WALK to the store; they transport their groceries in shopping carts. OR they have them delivered. Driving to the supermarket is pretty unusual in an urban environment (which Chicago clearly is).
Don’t you get what they are doing? Think frogs and slowly warming water. It’s not about how people do their shopping. I’m sure some people could ride a unicycle to the store with a shopping basket balanced on their head. It’s about having another freedom yanked away for a bogus reason. The changes to the “environment” in Austin are microscopic.
