They built Tacomas in the NUMMI plant as well...from the mid 90’s until 2009, when they opened their new truck plant in Texas.

I used to drive by the NUMMI plant every day on my way to my first real job in Fremont. I bought a 2005 Pontiac Vibe that was built there—still driving it with 150,000 miles.

Then Toyota pulled out of the NUMMI partnership. Last I heard, Tesla is using the plant.
