According to Catholic News Service, St. John Paul II was speaking before a crowd of 10,000 in his hometown of Wadowice in 1999, when he reminisced about a bakery in the town square that sold the pastry. I went to a little bakery in Wadowice about a block from his house about eight years ago. I don't remember all the things I bought, just that the pastries were good. I just like to buy anything in those places that is pretty. If there was something similar to a Napoleon, I'm sure I bought one..
