Apparently the “one sided picture” was enough.

That was quick: Fired, and referred to DA for further action. If there were justice, that further action would be taken.
It’s sad, though, that between two other officers six feet away, and a journalist who posted photos thousands of miles away, that the latter is better at detecting possible criminal misdoing on the part of a another officer. It shows both the power of the new media (or, at least relative to the old media - where was the TN press?) and also the power of the Blue Wall of Silence.
Thank you son of Obama. Now that the mutual insults are over I'll post a reply. I don't know the cop. I know no active cops. I do not even live in Knox County. Again the only picture I can download is that in the KNS website and no it does not look like a choking position especially the cops right hand reaching around from the side. Not one Freeper has mentioned the resisting arrest part where the guy allegedly reached for an officers leg either. Not that officer but the arresting one.
The guys facial expression, the other two cops facial expressions, the mug shot, all leave me doubting BASED ON SEEING THE PICTURE has me doubting that in that picture he was choking the man.
Put your own hands around your own neck from the front and see where they end up on your neck. Do it at any angle you wish. One poster in Knoxnews.com not me btw because I don't buy that left leaning paper posted that in that one picture it looked more like the cop was removing a necklace as part of arrest procedure. Bad move trying to accomplish such from the front side. The arresting officer not him BTW is the one cuffing him.
Now giving the political hate some Knoxville media has for almost any GOP officer and long standing animosity not with that sheriff but the previous Republican sheriff as well I can see someone up for election wanting this incident resolved ASAP.
