Our kitty was coughing a little last night. I got him a drink of water and brought it to him. He seemed to be grateful, and was fine after he drank about an ounce.

None of my three seem to have any problems with hairballs, although they all seem to be shedding quite a bit lately.

Should we go around gagging and coughing in solidarity or something? What possible purpose does greater “awareness” of hairballs serve?

How ironic!
I just had to have maintenance come and unplug the drain on my tub.
For some strange reason, a crew of FIVE Uniformed Maintenance Men showed up to accomplish this task. They were new guys, so I assumed it was a training mission.
Now, I am enlightened that this is how they celebrate “National Hairball Day”!
We had a hairball removal party right here in my apartment! :-)

I have hairball awareness, alright. Once the cat stars going “wow wow” one is on its way out.
