A "LEFT OVER" hurricane? "Ooops," says mother nature, "I got one more in my back pocket!" ???? It was the remnant of hurricane Ike. I've never seen 60 mph winds for a day under completely clear skies. The trees around here aren't built for that, especially in the summer with leaves on. I'm used to hurricane remnants dropping 3 to 6 inches of rain with 30 mph winds. I was lucky because I only lost one tree which bumped the house (no real damage), one limb from another tree which scratched my car's paint and a refrigerator full of food to throw out because the power was out and I couldn't get ice because nearly everyone's power was out and wanted ice at the same time. Others had it far worse.

So, did you buy a power supply that can be run with gasoline? That's what we had to use here one year.
