Kenny Loggins, a soft-rock star in the 1970s, will perform in a free concert for delegates to the Republican State Convention and their families.
The convention will be in Fort Wayne in June. Loggins' concert will be at 8 p.m. June 7 at Embassy Theatre.
The Kenny Loggins concert will be the grand finale for what promises to be the best Indiana GOP convention ever, said Steve Shine, Allen County Republican Party chairman, in announcing the concert. We are looking forward to welcoming delegates from all over the state to Fort Wayne, where we plan to showcase the very best our state has to offer.
The state convention will be June 6 and 7, and this is the first time it is being held in Fort Wayne. About 1,775 delegates from throughout the state are invited.
“Built To Spill”
holy cow where did that come from. I have a CD from them somewhere in my collection. Are they popular today?
they did a pretty cool cover of Neil Young’s Cortez the Killer
Hey! I love Kenny Loggins. I was able to get him to sing “House on Pooh Corner” to my son on his fifth birthday. It was the song I sang to him at bedtime when he was a little guy.
Kenny Loggins is a good egg.
