The traditional Inuit diet is fats and proteins, no sugar at all. It is probably one of the healthiest diets you can have. They have no heart disease and cancer. The human body is built for that. Meat and fat is not the problem. The problem is sugar, grains, and processed foods.
Lifestyle has a lot to do with it also. Their diet works great when you actually work for a living, I can’t imagine it being as healthy for this generation of twenty-somethings that haven’t worked up a sweat in years, if ever.
