She wants to go to Topeka for the 60th anniversary of Brown vs. Board of Education.
She wants to lecture us about civil rights and race.
She will say that the Brown decision was a giant step towards civil rights and equal rights for all.
But she will go on to say that, while great progress has been made, that we still have a long way to go, in that civil rights struggle.
Her speech is very predictable. So we don’t even have to listen to it. I have just outlined what her key points are. If I were a gambling man, I would bet that this would be the gist of her speech.
And the issue is that none of the kids have anything to do with that moment in time, heck even their grandparents were young.
