the story in the other link about Pope John Paul 2, being found alone and cradling the tabernacle in his private chapel, crooning a Polish lullaby, distraught at not being able to comfort the Lord, just totally moved me to tears.
Yes, it was touching.
Remember DH’s brother with stage 4 prostate cancer? He has just been dropped by the drug study he was in. His cancer appears to have spread to his liver with several spots found there. I heard he is hoping to get chemo next. I fear for him, this is not a good turn. His youngest son is getting married this summer and he is looking forward to it. This will be the first of his four children to marry.
My own DH, had a biopsy scheduled to check on his prostate cancer. It was less than a week after my scheduled knee surgery so I told him to move his biopsy up, instead he moved it back to July. RME He has a volleyball tournament and can’t miss that.
I am having a sad day here. Appropriate, considering it is Good Friday.
When you have adoration do they not expose the host? Last night, they did not, but they called it adoration. I had asked Fr. Brian how it would work and he evaded my question, I see why now.
