Credit where credit’s due...
MyFoxNY updated their lousy article this morning with some actual details.
Pertinent to note that the prior incident resulted in only Community Service for the violator (helluva deterrent, eh?) and the current violator hasn’t been charged with anything but trespass...
According to the articles I read, they know wild animals poop & pee in it. The difference this time is that someone did it INTENTIONALLY. As everyone knows, intentional urine is much nastier than unintentional urine.
Of course, the wild animals are intentionally peeing, so perhaps “wild urine”, or “free range urine”, is better than nasty “domesticated urine”, with “human urine” at the top of the scale in nastiness.
If you would like more information about what's happening in Oregon, please FReepmail me. I lost my Oregon list when my computer crashed recently, so please send me your name by FReepmail if you were on the previous list.
Be happy he didn’t launch a floater!
LMFAO?!
It appeared to me that the problem was that it was disclosed the kid had done this.
And the powers-that-be apparently believe that most people are idiots. First, they believe that people could not be convinced that the water would be safe to drink. And second, they believe the same people are too stupid to know that animals are defecating in the open water.
In fact, I’m guessing that part of the reason they are spending money to put the storage in underground tanks is that they area afraid what the people will do if they “figure out” that the water is just out in the open.
Like imagine if the people realized that the rain washed all the pollutants out of the air, and deposited it right into their drinking water.
Draining a reservoir because someone peed in it, voting for a Chicago thief because he's black, to them, only the most simple logic.
