Reports from Slavyansk say that the army troops sent to the eastern Ukrainian city for an anti-terrorist operation are leaving en masse. Some troops are openly voicing support for the eastern Ukrainians, while others are speaking out against a war.
According to Interfax, citing local self-defense activists, some 300 Ukrainian troops agreed to lay down their weapons and go home following negotiations in Slavyansk.
We managed to negotiate with them. About 300 military only some of those who closed around the city decided to lay down their arms and go home, a self-defense activist was quoted as saying.
Conflicting reports are emerging about whether the activists would or would not allow the troops to keep their weapons and APCs. According to Western media journalists present at the scene, the locals would not allow them to take back the APCs surrendered earlier, but the soldiers were allowed to march away with their rifles.
The people cheered the troops as they started leaving Slavyansk.

I forgot Christians. Why does Conquest hate Christians?
You need some medication.

There really aren’t any, but some of the Putinistas have bought into the Putinist explanation that the Ukrainians who want freedom are Jews and Nazis.
You need some truth.
According to the Russians, a Ukrainian protestor.
I think that the idea that Holodomor was a racially targeted genocide attempt like the Holocaust is false. Many, many people in the USSR outside of Ukraine died the same way during the same time. People were killed because they resisted government policy, not for their ethnicity. The exact same thing happened during forced collectivisation in China, when all the people involved were Han Chinese.
Maybe you know more about it than Robert Conquest. I know that the Russians agree with you and dismiss the claims of genocide, like the Turks do the Armenian’s claim.
The Jew Nazi-in-chief. Called that for selling out Jews to the Nazis while hiding his true identity. Recently orchestrated a coup installing Nazis in Ukraine.
The primary Jew Nazi agent in Ukraine, installed by Soros, as according to the globalist NWO plan. His code name is "Arseniy Yatsenyuk", and he is of Jewish descent.
He occupies the position of Prime Minister of Ukraine, and is obviously Nazi because the fascist coup installed Nazi/Banderist radicals as the new government.
This cat is the latest body possessed by the anti-Christ. Prophesied to bring about the end-times, he has granted Soros with world spanning powers so that he may bring about the New World Order.
That was very crafty of those banderista nazis appointing a Jewish PM.
Don't you always use that “Putinista” bull?
You know, a person can support neither Obama nor Putin, genius. ... while advocating staying out of this.
And what is it with you posting on tcrlaf’s and others threads about Ukraine. Are you obsessively fixated?
Just tell us that you are not in McCain's camp on foreign policy, don't support what Putin is doing, but don't support Obama either - that you advocate staying out of this 10,000% and you will be seen as advocating the CORRECT position, and not the HAWK position. Comprende?
So, one good turn deserves another...
I will continue to use the following “Obamanista, Soronista, etc) as long as you keep up your uncivilized dialog.
Whew. I thought you might try to sue me, or something.
Weren’t your ilk on here that first used the “Punista” diatribe against others?
If so, why do you get upset when others do what they do?
That’s the way it works here for RINOS like you.
Actually, if you track-back my contention, it’s interesting. I merely was observing that “guilt by association” works in both directions.
I’ve no ilk. I’m thinking you’re drunk again, as your ilk often does. Besides wanting to be frivolous, I wonder why you post anything.
Frankly, I’m not a big fan of the term, “putinista.” I came-up with “borscht brigade” years ago.
I like “Putinista” because it’s identified with one-man and his “charismatic” leadership. Following him is becoming an ideology. And I think the followers are much like the Sandinistas. They’re muddle-minded and naive.
