Maybe so, but I would still look askance at anyone ordering a whiskey with a slice of lime.
Family stuff getting a bit intense.
It’s just the darkest of night, and dawn should break sometime soon.
LOL, I avoid any extra thick sugary libation during hot temperatures, rum and Black Russians especially.
Try running, the day after an evening booze cruise, on vacation...it’s like bathing in syrup.
Gross.
Or Ice.
I’m so sorry - lately I feel like I’ve been surrounded by friends/family dealing with that sort of thing. I hope things work out for you soon.
Oh it’s not going to be a regular thing us commuting together. but he is anxious to get in early, and with two in the car we can go on 66 and get in in a half hour. he normally takes the subway and has to change trains, and so it’s less efficient. His apt is walking distance from the Vienna Metro, and they will have a two bedroom in the same development when they get married.
It is going to be an adjustment. last night xshub asked her if they were going to eat at our house once they are married, and i said, UM NO. i will invite you for dinner on occasion, but you will do your own grocery shopping and cook for yourselves over there! While they do not live together, she does eat dinner over there most nights [he had hockey last night so she ate at home] and she does the groc shopping etc. to sort of ease into the married life kind of thing. I do feed him via leftovers several times a week, but i don’t mind that, bc no one in our house is very big on leftovers.
praying for you that things will get better soon : )
Who the heck runs on vacation?
How often can you get in a run, with headphones and an ocean sunrise?
Running on a beach at sunrise, and swimming in the dark are opportunities to not let go by the wayside....
I only run if someone’s chasing me.
It was 30 at 6 this AM again, and it is 50, with a chilly breeze now-but no snow...
Obama is totally clueless,
No matter what he may say-
When playing poker with Vlad
It will never go his way
Russia brings out cannon
To back up what it steals-
Obama’s phony dreadnought
Came with training wheels
So the cold war begins again,
And likely to last for awhile-
Till we have someone in office
With some experience and style...
That was terrific.
A+++
Heh, heh!
A++++
Fabulous!
I love that clip because so often actors don’t appreciate the fan base of a certain show or movie. I loved The Fresh Prince and recently saw a clip of the actor who played “Carlton” - he was really rude about his signature dance on the show. I’m sure some have teased him about it over the years but many of us loved his character and are smart enough to know he was young and it was a part her played - it doesn’t diminish his manhood - it really made me angry that he was so childish about it.
Obamas phony dreadnought
Came with training wheels
Love that!
Thank you!
The first mental image I had when I saw your word was the top-secret dreadnought class badass black ship that the terrorist/villain stole in Star Trek-Into Darkness, but I couldn’t rhyme it...
No way...
