I stopped following F1 a few years ago. Didn’t know that it no longer mandates refueling.
I also gave up on Formula One, which became a bit of a drag with the German Vettel winning every week.
I’ve recently gone back to it and there was some great racing the other weekend between the Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Really exciting stuff - they finished 1-2 but it looked dicey at one point and I thought they might take themselves off.
