F Wayne Simmonds draws first blood for the Flyers on the PP in the 1st Period of Game 6 in Philadelphia
while G Mason shuts the door on a shot by the Rangers' Stralman, as the host team leads New York 1-0 at Intermission.
I was so mad the Pens didn’t go for Simmonds when the Kings were shopping him then Philly got him! Darn, he looks great tonight! The NBC announcer was wrong about him, he’s a big guy power forward.
He would have been perfect for Crosby’s right wing...sigh. Winger envy is a terrible thing.
The Kings went on a tear surely and not to take away from that but their 1st go-ahead goal, I’m not so sure about. Home-cooking or good call?
“Sharks coach Todd McLellan, on Williams’ jab-in goal: “We got cheated. Simple as that.””

I think the Sharks gave up at least another goal after that.)
A Flyers' Wayne Simmonds hat-trick in the 2nd Period of Game Six book-ends a breakaway goal by Erik Gustafsson,
giving Philadelphia a 4-0 lead at the second Intermission vs. the New York Rangers, trying to force Game 7 tomorrow at MSG.
