WESTERN CONFERENCE - ROUND 1 MATCH-UPS
COLORADO AVALANCHE (1) vs MINNESOTA WILD (4)
ST. LOUIS BLUES (2) vs CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS (3)
ANAHEIM DUCKS (1) vs DALLAS STARS (4)
SAN JOSE SHARKS (2) vs LOS ANGELES KINGS (3)
I don’t think the Blackhawks win` this series. I think the Kings will end it the next game. Chicago as the Stanley Cup defending champions had to give it all they had at home and only win last night in the 2nd overtime.
The Ducks were able to defeat the Kings in LA, so perhaps those games should be studied.
In the end, I think it will be a bump in the road for the Kings, the defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks were playing at home and only won in the 2nd OT whereas that game clearly could have gone both ways.
I don’t think the Hawks win either. In fact, I see a blowout for the Kings in Game 6. Looks like a Rangers/Kings Stanley Cup. Great for TV ratings except in the henkster household. I despise both teams. I would watch if either the Hawks or Habs made it, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen.
RIP Habs. I hope LA stomps the guts out of the Rangers. :-)
PS - Lundquist is ugly
Lundqvist has looked solid - regardless of all the complaining about Crosby not performing, Henrik beat the Penguins.
(let me know if you want on or off the ping list)

No doubt he’s looked solid. The Rags are playing good hockey in front of him. Teams are getting a lot of perimeter shots but he’s coming up with the big saves when it counts.
Congrats to the Rangers fans but I’ll have to keep one of the local radio stations off the air in my house for awhile. They play Boomer Esiason updates and he’s probably unbearable by now.
Dancing Larry!!!!
Potvin Sucks! 40 years later the lunatics at the Garden are still chanting it.
GO RANGERS!
Liked the old Kings uniforms, these, not so much. These were sharp. Clever goal by the Kings to open up the scoring.
The Kings Dwight King converts from the slot past Blackhawks G Crawford to open the scoring late in the First Period of Game 6 in L.A.
and give the hosts a 1-0 lead over Chicago at the Intermission, hoping to close out the Series and meet N.Y. in the Stanley Cup Finals.
It sure is quiet in here.
There’s a big red bump in the road.
Just came back from the pub and watching the Blackhawks win! YEAH BABY!!!!!!
WRONG! ROFL!
Signed,
Chicago Blackhawks Fan
The Redwings? We said bye-bye to them long ago.
We’ll see. Kings have done better on the road, we will see for all of those thinking the Blackhawks have won the series.
Is there really such a thing as home ice advantage in hockey?
Blackhawks are playing a lot better, Blackhawks already had to go for some dirty play in an earlier series injuring a player, reminds you of the NJ Devils. Kings have not resorted to this. We’ll see who wins. I still think the Kings take it. They were due an emotional let down. And if they lose it, so they do, Canadiens, Kings, have all played well in the post season.
