“NEW YORK — The NHL announced that New York Rangers forward Daniel Carcillo has been automatically suspended for 10 games as a result of making contact with an official during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final.
Carcillo struck linesman Scott Driscoll’s arm while Driscoll trying to restrain him during a first-period altercation against the Montreal Canadiens. At the time of the incident, Montreal’s Brandon Prust and New York’s Derek Dorsett were fighting because the Rangers were angry over Prust’s hit to the face of New York’s Derek Stepan.”
Chicago's Jonathan Toews puts in his 2nd goal of the Period from close range to give the Blackhawks a 2-1 lead over the Kings
at the first Intermission of Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals in Los Angeles, with the Series currently tied at a game apiece.
The Kings' Jeff Carter converts from close range on a quick pass from behind the net, then linemate Tyler Toffoli breaks in between the
Chicago defense & slides the puck under G Crawford to give LA a 3-2 advantage over the Blackhawks after two Periods of Game 3.
(let me know if you want on or off the ping list)

As for Carcillo, you just don't do that to an official. That's just plain stupid!
Carter is playing serious hockey. Wonder whose wife he’s trying to impress?
Not naive at all here, but in reading up on the topic I’m a little surprised at all the alleged “misconduct” going on in this regard ;-)
Montreal gets three 1st-Period power plays in Game 4, but it's NY's Carl Hagelin who scores on a short-handed breakaway
past the Canadiens' G Dustin Tokarski to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead at the first Intermission at Madison Square Garden.
As the Canadiens' Dustin Tokarski continues to make great saves in Game 4, F Francis Bouillon puts a perfect shot over Rangers G Lundqvist
to knot the score; however, Derick Brassard slaps in a 30-footer in the last minute of Period Two to put NY up 2-1 over Montreal at the Intermission.
2-2 and to Overtime, Canadiens at Rangers.
Guess? I won’t, I’d hex the team.
Sure didn’t see that one coming, they left the Ranger out in the open, back to Montreal, Rangers 3 games to 1.
I guess St. Louis wouldn’t be denied Tonight, we’ll see if L.A. can replicate the feat & push things closer to a Media axis Finals.

Thank you again for the pings and updated game schedules.
Glad to do it. I got to it late because I was in the local Memorial Day parade. A beautiful day here in central PA!

Looks like this series belongs to the Kings.
Looks like it might be a New York/L.A. series.
The NHL should be thrilled with the 2 big markets in the Finals.
Yeah if it is NY VS LA the goal tending should be fun to watch.
