WESTERN CONFERENCE - ROUND 1 MATCH-UPS
COLORADO AVALANCHE (1) vs MINNESOTA WILD (4)
ST. LOUIS BLUES (2) vs CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS (3)
ANAHEIM DUCKS (1) vs DALLAS STARS (4)
SAN JOSE SHARKS (2) vs LOS ANGELES KINGS (3)
Wouldn’t you rather be playing the Flyers in the second round? I know how much you hate them.
I have more friends who are Flyers fans, so it’s pretty sweet to see them out in the first round.
And I have the Rangers in my ‘Bracket Challenge’.
WILD WIN WILD WIN
Reviewing the Goal....
Kings Win.
Blackhawks certainly will be the favorite against the Wild, probably to win it in 5 games or so. The Blackhawks are contenders to win it all.
As will be in my view, the Bruins, Canadiens and Penguins.
I’ll pick Les Habitantes to make the finals. I’ll have to think about whether they can win it, run down some stats on how they did against the West.

Crosby is gonna have to step up against the Rangers.
GO HABS GO!!!!
Sutter and Vitale are practicing.
This should be a great series. Fortunately we don’t have to deal with the goons from Filthy-delphia.
By all means, I hope they take the Bruins to 7 and bloody them all the way, like in the “good old days”!
I think the Kings are going to win it again.
I had LA getting past the Sharks then petering out vs. Anaheim — now I’m not so sure ....
And there’s something about the way their coach looks that really bothers me ;)
Darryl Sutter: Bitter Beer Face.
Kings’ goaltending & D are superior to the Ducks’. LA v. Chicago in the Conference Finals.
Bruins' G Tuukka Rask reacts as Montreal's P.K. Subban scores the first goal of Game One of Round #2
on the initial PP through a screen, giving the Canadiens a 1-0 lead at the First Intermission in Boston.
Canadiens' G Price stands tall against a tremendous Bruins onslaught but Rene Bourque scores the only goal
during the second Period, as Montreal holds a 2-0 advantage over Boston at the Intermission.
There’s not going to be a comeback here, man, do the Canadiens look awesome.
Bruins have come back, okay, wrong. Still, great start for the Canadiens.
Yo, dang, Subban, what a sharpshooter.
Bartkowski in the penalty box but the penalty just began. Bartkowski from Pittsburgh, certainly are a lot of Americans, Yanks playing.

A Penguins defensive lapse leaves the Rangers' Brad Richards alone in front of G Fleury to score the goal
putting New York up 2-0 at the end of the first Period of Game One of their 2nd Round series in Pittsburgh.
